Certainly life can get you down. There is no doubt that people are flawed and selfish. Even the best of us.

But with the beginning of a new year there is a hint of a promise. A promise of tomorrow, today. Tomorrow……today? You have the promise that tomorrow will come. That promise is for right now… today. There is no promise of what that day may hold or what life may bring to you. No promise of perfect lives and picket fences. It’s just a promise that there will be a tomorrow. Whatever you may go through today- it is not forever. You can muster up all your strength and courage and face today and tomorrow with a new outlook. Forgive the unforgivable, break loose the chains and start over. Be the person you know you can be. Work harder than anyone around you. Be kind and thoughtful even to the undeserving. Be generous and expect nothing in return. Show love to the unlovable. Be a light in the darkness.

I have found when you do these things …. you turn the past into acceptance, you turn today into joy and tomorrow into peace.

Why not look forward to tomorrow…today? You might just like it.
